We’ve had confirmation that this won’t be run this year but they hope to return in 2015 with a revised swim course.

Entries are open for this year’s Seahorse swim which once again is being organised by East Dorset Open Water SC.

Distance is 3.8KM with both westsuit and traditional non-wetsuit categories.

You can enter here.

Dorset ASA are running two Masters galas in 2014 after staging no events this year.

The first is on 16th February at Rossmore Pool and features events from 50m to 400m.

The second is being held at Purbeck Leisure Centre, Wareham and is the long distance 800m and 1500m championships.

Details are available via the Event Calendar or here.

Entries for this are now open; details on the Event Calendar or here.

We would like to run as a non-wetsuited swim but depending on interest from the ‘traditional‘ swimmers we may well open to wetsuit swimmers.

So if you are interested please express an interest ASAP.

Also if you don’t want to swim , we need kayakers and helpers on the day.

Many thanks

Kate and Julia
